Saturday 22/06/19

Last game of round 1

On Saturday my team was playing against our B team called Kawakawa Pulse, we started off the game, I got put in GD it was hard for me because I was really tired and I knew that I had to run a lot but I stuck to my strengths and I focused on the game because I didn´t want my team to lose a game. (By the way we haven´t lost a game)  So I played half of the game and I got put on sub on the third quarter then I got put back on the court in the last quarter but I was GA and I was nervous because I´m usually just a defender but I shot my goals in well actually missed some because I was losing my balance but that´s okay. The timer went off and the umpire blew the whistle THE GAMES OVER, I have a look at the scores and ..... 

WE WON!!

So we won and it was the last game of round 1 and we haven´t lost a game.

Rocket challenge

This week I am posting about my rocket challenge that happened this week, we finally launched our own rockets but it was a bummer because I was sick and I didn´t want to have any attention to do with the rocket challenge because it was a really bad day, the weather was very yuck and etc, so I just watched on the side and our rocket didn´t go as planned when it got launched it went everywhere but that´s okay we have one more week to improve.

Project Energize

For my blog post for this week I´m posting about project energize that we had last week.Project energize is all about keeping fit and healthy and staying away from junk.For last weeks project energize we did a warm up, we had to race each others in groups and see who finishes first, we had to bounce the basketball and run at the same time,dribble the soccer ball to the other end and etc. Then we split into two even big groups and we played capture the flag, it was pretty fun.

Scratch project

This is my scratch that I made with my buddy Roxy we had to make something that had to do with Anzac and we made this.We didn´t finish our scratch project, we didn´t know how to work the site and this is all we got up to.So this is my post for the week.

Saturday 08/06/19 

Kawakawa Mystics vs Kerikeri Sapphires

On Saturday I had netball and my team were versing the hardest team that we have versed yet. They haven´t lost a game and that´s the same with us we have won all of our games.Our team was very nervous to play against them because they haven´t lost a game and we didn´t know what we were up against. We all got on the court and was waiting for the alarm to go off for us to start playing. BBBEEEERRRRRPPPP!!! The whistle blew and we started our game.The game was going really well we were up by only a little, the first quarter finished and we went to go in a huddle and was listening to Arona´s (Arona is our coach) advice for us to play a better game.The second quarter started, then the third, then then the last this last quarter was the last quarter for us to not lose it we were up by a lot but we kept throwing away a lot of opportunities for us to get a higher rate of shooting percentage...

WE WON!!

The total score was

 21 - 7

Walking with an Anzac !!

These last couple of weeks we have been learning about objects that have been used fro the war. The object me and my partner chose was a badge about the Dardanelles. It has been a good experience learning about items that have gone to war. We found some good information about the item we used and some about George Bollinger.

Pepeha

Pepeha 
This week I chose to do a presentation on my pepeha because my class had to add some more things into our pepeha so I decided to show people my pepeha. I haven´t had the courage to stand up in taumata and say my pepeha but I might do it soon but I can´t promise it.
