Writing

For the past 3 weeks my teachers said that we are going to do a 3 week writing because we use to do a every week full piece of writing and it didn´t go as planned meaning by that sometimes didn´t get writing finished, not good enough for our age and etc.So they decided to do a 3 week writing so we can get a more better piece of published writing. For this week our topic was Anzac and we had to write about that topic. We had 3 different piece of writing (Exposition,Fiction recount, and a Report) we could chose from and I chose an exposition. HOPE YOU ENJOY!!

A LEGACY OF HONOR
How would you feel if you had to go to the war?

I personally agree that men have all rights to choose if they want to go to war or not, each person that
represents their countries should have their names put on a roll of honor (war 1-3). Men have equal
rights as women when they don´t have to go to the war and that young men shouldn't go to the war
because they are to young and they need to live their lives to the fullest. The reason why I picked
these reasons to argue or persuade is because they are the most reasons people
ask about like why did they have to go to war, or why didn't they have a choice? Etc.

Most men had volunteered to go to the war, but, it wasn't enough for the government so the
government forced human beings/men to fight in the war whether they liked it or not even if they
had said no. They would be punished and the punishment that was given would be them getting
SHOT or sent to JAIL. When the men go to war and they don't know how to shoot and haven't
seen someone get shot before, they’d run away and because you’d run away you’ll get a
punishment and that is you getting shot right on the spot. Men should have all rights to choose
whether they want to go to the war, or not feel disgusting inside.
When I hear all the time that men got forced to go to the war,  it's literally a disgrace to humankind
itself.

Each person that goes to the war and represents their country should and needs to be put on a roll of
honor, including those with different religions and beliefs. Most countries have the same laws and
some don't. In World War I: 1.1 percent and in World War II: 1.8 percent of people come back
from the wars alive so your chance of getting your name put on a roll of honor is really quite high,
Including your chance of surviving is extremely amazing. They should be put on a roll of
honor because they risk their lives every single day of the war to save their countries.

Men should have equal rights as women to not go to war because men have their family to take
care of and etc. I know that people would think that's why they went to the war in the first place, so
they can take care of their families by fighting for them. But that's not the taking care that I'm try to
make a point with. It’s that they might have to do jobs to make money so they can pay for a cure to
take away a sickness in their families so they could see them for another day that they´ll never
forget or any other really important problems.Young men should have rights to have a choice
of going to the war they should not be forced. For example John Condon was a young
Irish soldier. He was only fourteen at the time when he went to the war and sadly
he died in 1915 at world war I (5 October 1900 - 24 may 1915 ) But he wasn't the
youngest man that has gone to the war there was a unnamed 12 year old boy that went to the war.

These reasons out of all other reasons in this type of topic is more
meaningful to me then others but I have other reasons that are meaningful to me too.
I stated these reasons because they need to be answered. So these are my three strong reasons
and I totally agree with each of them and I will never change it. Instead of going to war we
shouldn't have war in the first place. I know that they start off with an argument and end with a
war but it doesn't have to be put on people. These are victims and that have nothing to do with
the problem, there will always be friction in the world but it doesn't have to be bigger
than it already is. Like I said, people will always have different religions and beliefs but
it doesn't have to end in a huge war. Don't/never make it into World War III! We don´t
need more people to die in this world. Do you really want another war? Have your own choice
and stick to it.

EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN CHOICE.

  1. I definitely agree that people should have the right to choose whether to fight in a war or not. I don't think I would have been able to do it... I couldn't have even been a nurse! You have raised some valid points and made your opinion very clear. Well done.
